Waiting (for Bottled Cider)

Introduction

Once you’ve bottled you’re ready for the next step of my my standard recipe. Waiting! At this point you can skip ahead and drink it if you’re impatient.

What To Do

In general, this step involves doing nothing but waiting. Generally you’ll want to wait at least 10 days if you’re bottle carbing the cider. Leaving it longer will help and generally leaving it a month or more will give it time to age.

The one thing you do have to watch out for is bottle bombs.

Next Steps

Once your brew is aged long enough to carbonate, it’s time to drink it.
